Samuel Goh

Samuel Goh
Samuel Goh, a local wedding photographer. Contrary to the working style of most photographers, little was being directed and that made other session very unforgettable. He occasionally prompted us with questions which allowed us to reflect on our love. He keeps capturing the emotions show in the results of his masterpieces. They are perfect representations of his take on love- unscripted, spontaneous and vulnerable, His photographs always portray a beautiful story of our love, unbeknownst to us. Looking at them reminded us of why the couple fell in love and stayed in love. Its a piece of work that we will review at any point in our lives and be so glad that we were had the privilege of being shot by Sam,

Like love, Sam's work is truly timeless.

Biography

He grew up in a family with two of the most kindhearted souls as parents. His mother is adorable and is the one who holds the family together, while his father cares in the most subtlest of ways.Their love for each other and for our family form the core of my values, and is one of the reasons why he chose to document relationships. Two years ago he fell in love with a girl with the most beautiful heart, who changed the way he understand and value the things and people around him – without the girl, he wouldn’t be where or who he is today. It’s surreal to think that you will one day meet and marry the person whom you know is the one, as cliche as it sounds, but he knew when he met the girl.

"My soul feels the freest among the mountains and wide blue skies, within the tall green forests with the scent of wood and leaves or when facing the gentle waves crashing onto shore – it’s the long stretches of roads and the warm campfire nights huddled around the people I love that makes life worth living."

DOUGLAS + ANNA VINTAGE ENGLISH YACHT CLUB WEDDING

Douglas and Anna are both from the UK and loved traveling – two individuals after my own heart. They met halfway around the globe in a Sydney hostel when they were on their individual travels and have never looked back since. There are some weddings that you simply can’t place a tag on – forget the themes, the flowers, the stunning gown and jewelry. All that mattered that autumn day was the love shared between the two of them and as friends and family mingled during the cocktail reception, played crochet and boccie on the lawn, laughed and teared during the heartfelt speeches, and danced the night away under the stars against the Perth city lights – I thought to myself, that this is how a wedding should be like.
I will always be grateful for being part of this intimate celebration – it opened my eyes and heart to the stories I would later on yearn to tell.
This wedding is also featured on The Wedding Scoop here.
