NEON IN HONG KONG 



“Hunting for what’s left of Hong Kong’s iconic neon signs —  an essential element of this cityscape’s visual culture covering HK’s streets for years with glow — I roamed the dazzling roads aimlessly reminiscing about a dystopian past that only existed in neo-noire cult fiction movies like Blade Runner, trying to burn these lively picturesque streets in my memory before they vanish, all while figuring out how to thrive creatively in this organised chaos.”

Zaki Abdelmounim, a photographer and also a traveller, visit Hong Kong for his neon light shooting. In his photo, he bring out all the essential element that fulfil the culture of cityscape of Hong Kong. Hong Kong street famous by its glow and neon lighting business stall for many years, in zaki's work, it is show the colorful of the hk street and the buzy life of Hk people.
